I have always been a writer. I published a short story about an unusual cockatoo when I was eight. That was the first of many stories, poetic anthologies, and novels to follow. I never stopped writing, though I went through a long phase where I believed I needed to be a “responsible adult” and that writing didn’t meet that standard. I’m so glad I got over that, although it took me a career in architecture and law to do it.
What finally led me to choose writing as my full-time career are my three daughters. I want to show them that it is possible to follow your joy, helping and inspiring others along the way. I want them to know that the impossible is possible. I want them to avoid the path of uncertainty and doubt that I had previously chosen. When we follow our hearts and do what we are passionate about, we blossom.
I was writing and illustrating empowering children’s books when I just knew I had to write visionary novels. I am grateful that I listened because it has been an incredible journey since then. Your feedback on how my books have helped transform your lives inspire me to write many more of them.
It is my greatest hope that my work will make your life more magical. I wish that we may all learn how to make our own version of the impossible possible.
In the meantime, I live in Sedona, Arizona with my family where I am currently working on several new book projects.
Thanks for your continued support! I wouldn’t be where I am now without it.
